  1. Re: CQRS - Command/Query responsability segregation (overview)

    135021

The attached code is the "framework" part of a CQRS / Event Sourcing system that is hosted on Azure Storage.
The backing technology for the event streams can be File, Blob or Table based -...

Re: To Implement or To Inherit

As a very loose rule of thumb, I use class inheritance when I want to code the concept "I am an x" and interface implementation when I want to code the concept "I can do y".

It is still a long way form complete, but there's a progress update on my blog if anyone is interested...and indeed if anyone has spare capacity to help the project along?

    Re: FAA UAV Registration...

I think that commercial use is exempt because they haven't yet worked out how to regulate (by which I mean tax) commercial users.

Also - max weight of 55 pounds - that's a fairly hefty UAV.

    Re: Printer Status (Ready/Offline)

The thing is that the status of a printer is only updated when you try to print to it. This is very similar to the way that you can only tell that a telephone is engaged if you dial it.

  7. Re: How to get list of process with their modules and md5 + SHA values?

OK - each process has a .Modules member that contains a list of that process ProcessModules.
  8. Re: How to get list of process with their modules and md5 + SHA values?

You basically have 3 requirements - list all running processes, get the directory for a process and get the hash for a running process.

    For the first step, try...

  25. [CodeGen/Roslyn] Turn a code compile unit to VB.Net code

  34. Re: Need expert help with a type initializer that is throwing an except

A "type load" exception occurs when the .NET framework common language runtime (effectively the .NET runner) is unable to load a class (type) that is referred to in your code.

Re: How would you unit test this method?
