  1. Re: Order/Structure for events?

It sounds like I'm ok leaving it as is then. Thanks for the insight TG!
  2. [RESOLVED] Order/Structure for events?

I am handling mouse and keyboard actions via OpenTK. Depending on other classes and the interfaces they implement, I am passing the correlating events through.

I just ran into a problem in which...
  3. VS 2010 Re: When you begin creating an application, what........

I started a simple program with only 1 piece of functionality for a friend, it automated a website he used 20ish times a day. His boss liked it so much that he "bought" it from me and wanted some...
  4. Re: Updating application automatically (ideas)

So I decided for the time being to create a simple separate launcher that downloads the main program and my required dll's to the application data folder. This allows me to get the ball rolling on my...
  5. Updating application automatically (ideas)

I am currently developing a cross-platform application using Mono. I have created my main project, which uses an additional 2 dll files. Everything else in the entire solution are plugins which get...
  6. VS 2010 Re: Problem with popup in webbrowser element?

That was from the NewWindow3 event which is why I asked if the 2 or 3 event was being fired for you. I'm sure there are ways to get a redirect from NewWindow2 to your current browser since you...
  7. VS 2010 Re: Problem with popup in webbrowser element?

At least you are on the right track... Are you sure yours is firing the NewWindow2 event instead of 3? I'm sure you could probably redirect your original webbrowser rather than creating a new...
  8. VS 2010 Re: Problem with popup in webbrowser element?

    Sigh again...

I mentioned to look into the NewWindow 3 event. Let's do a search on that: here...

[C#] Re: Collisions -> half working...

Passel, thanks again for the great response!

Describing out in great detail really put it into perspective for me. It's not confusing (well the simplified approach anyways). I chose to go with the...

[C#] Re: Collisions -> half working...

I'm now back to reworking the paddle collision. I have all of the brick and wall collisions working out great. I originally sliced the paddle into 13 sections and changed the x/y movement based on...
  13. Re: [C#] Finding angles based on side lengths

Jemidiah, thanks so much for the explanations and help. I have since gotten rid of all of that code I previously had and now with so many less lines of code, things seem to be working out great!

[C#] Re: Collisions -> half working...

Do you move the ball at a faster rate than the width and/or height of the minimum width and/or height of any brick? That would cause the issue. Or do you happen to move the ball before the collision...
  15. Re: [C#] Finding angles based on side lengths

That's why I posted. From what I've read when you don't know any angle but know the sides, you can compute the largest angle (opposite the largest side). That's where I started.

    Thanks for the...
  16. [RESOLVED] [C#] Finding angles based on side lengths

I've been following solutions on various sites about the law of sines and law of cosines. However, I must be all mixed up or something because I can't figure out the formulas.

.GetElementById("") does just that, get's an element by it's id... The different options in the dropdown list don't contain id's. ID's are just like the "value=" you see, only it would be "id=*".
