At the office I don't encounter any of the named problems at all.
So it must be something with the provider I use at home.
Just if I had a clue how to analyze this...
Most problems on my phone (iPhone 5s) and on the iPad, which don't run adblockers or whatever.
I use Chrome on my laptop, no statusbar, only a statusbar like tooltip text saying "Verbinden..."...
I still have a lot of problems accessing VBForums, I have to refresh a page sometimes 5 times to get it... A lot connection time outs during the page loading.
As if some external content can not be...
18000 from 18000 is 100%
9563 from 9563 is 100%
If you have N elements then the % is:
= 100 * N / 18000
= 100 * N / 9563
Given T is total number of elements found:
= 100 * N / T
Almost all controls from vbAccelerator are depending on the ssubtmr.dll.
You first have to install and register it.
This type of data is stored/retrieved as a BLOB, a BLOB is just a dump of a sequence of bytes.
Being a PDF, Word, Image or whatever.
The online documentation:
The array you used has been declared by the Dim statement, but has not been dimensioned.
You either need to specify the lower/upper bound in the Dim statement, or use an additional ReDim...
The free version of VB was "Microsoft Visual Basic Control Creation Edition".
It was a stripped version of VB5 which didn't have the option to create an executable.
I use SqliteExplorer (3.04) to play around with sqlite DB and/or to test queries, nothing fancy:
And like jpbro I also use vbRichClient5 from within VB6
The same page in English:
You should drop support, XP is not even supported by MS anymore
Unroling the code always gives better performance.
A GoTo is a simple branch to another part of the code, calling a function/sub is working with a stack which has to be maintained.
No, you should get this from the source code.
Have a look at this thread at XtremeVBTalk:
Otherwise this commercial package:
Didn't know the code needed a byte array.
Then this slight modification works fine:
Dim bBytes() As Byte
Dim i As Long, lPos
Dim sIN As String
Dim sChar As String
It was already stated that this method doesn't work on XP...
I have seen issues were showing the CommonDialog control causes an application to freeze under Windows 10.
I was not able to what causes the problem, because it doesn't happen on all W10...
If I understand it correct you should not calculate the hash for this string
The string is a Hex$ representation of the actual...
I use AdvancedInstaller for this
Seems only to happen in the TextBox/ListBox you use for displaying the results, all other controls look fine.
I think there is indeed a problem with the font for that control.
Hmm, maybe I misunderstood your question but this works for me:
' Added the "|" for showing the space occupied by the numbers
Debug.Print "|" & Format(3, "@@@@@") & "|"
Debug.Print "|" &...
Have you ever heard of Google??
Dim myOutlook As Outlook.Application
On Error Resume Next
Set myOutlook = GetObject(, "Outlook.Application")
If Err.Number = 429 Then
While..Wend is historical way of writing Do While .. Loop
It repeats the inner code until a certain condition is met.
Open "JustATextFile" For Input As #1
Do Until EOF(1)
Line Input #1,...
But it does work, check my sample here:
Why not use GetObject/CreateObject instead of ShellExecute, because based on previous threads you are using Outlook Automation.
Then extract them one by one and update the progressbar for each item to be extracted
DateSerial already returns a date. So get rid of the CDate
Also no need to add TimeSerial with all zeroes.
Then in the debugger check the values passed to the DateSerial function
I believe you can use an hidden label control with autosize is true.
Assign the desired text, set the label width and you get an updated label height.
Use the found height for the RowHeight
How big is the file you extract that you need a progressbar anyway?
It should almost be instant...
Just a tip, but if you press F1 in the IDE then you get the Help.
If you place the cursor on a keyword then you jump directly to the help article for that keyword.
I don't have experience with Outlook automation, but I can imagine that you first need to collect all appointments which you want to delete and then delete then
To compare the content you only need one line of code:
If Text1.Text <> Text2.Text Then
' The content is not the same, do something
You need to decide when you want to compare the...
I don't understand your question.
The Coolbar is a place holder for Toolbars and other components
The toolbar is like a graphic menubar.
It seems to be a "Toolbar" in a Coolbar
I would code it like this:
Private Sub Form_Load()
.Rows = 2
.Cols = 6
.FixedRows = 1
If which event did you place this code?
And why are you sending a "backspace" ?
What kind of editing mode are you using on the MS(H)FlexGrid?
Or are you using the vsFlexGrid?
See this thread:
I don't think that's possible...
