    How do I apply to be a celebrity? Do I need a licence? I'm pretty sure they don't let just about anybody become a celebrity these days.

    Re: GoTo is still alive!

    "What is your opinion of the goto statement?" is a very useful question to ask when interviewing candidates for a programming job.

    Needless to say I wouldn't be hiring the OP. :)

    Re: What Boards have you used?

    Prepare for disappointment then. :)

    When you put a bloated API library on a small microcontroller with low resources you'll have precious little space left for your own code. Also the micro .net...

    Re: Getting Started

    C++ is a super-set of C. C code will compile correctly in a C++ compiler.

    Alternatively, get yourself a linux box (or a virtual) and just use the standard C compiler you get with it (GCC).

    Re: Getting Started

    Sorry, I wasn't very clear with my wording. "AVR" is the name of the chip family made by Atmel. The ATMega328 is an AVR.

    Re: Getting Started

    Any 5V or 3.3V regulator will work fine for powering up the AVR chip, such as the LM7805 or the LM7833.

    Just use Atmel's programmer tool: http://www.atmel.com/tools/AVRISPMKII.aspx.

    Re: Getting Started

    Great question! You should look into microcontrollers.
