    Re: Post Race!

    Years are always tough for me. I've been in the 2015 fiscal year since July 2014.

    You start building a budget in November of 2015 (which is the 2016 fiscal year) for the 2017 fiscal year.

    I've...

    [RESOLVED] firefox pdf viewer

    I just tried using ViewerJS with mixed success. I have read that firefox has a built in pdf viewer.

    How do I access that?

    How to setup an HttpListener in C++

    In VB.Net code I have this:

    Private m_listener As HttpListener = Nothing
    .
    .
    .
    Private Sub RequestRcvd(ByVal result As IAsyncResult)
    Dim context As HttpListenerContext =...
  10. Re: After Validation Error, my Input Mask function doesn't work on field

    1 is the correct value - the $("#birthdate") object is an ARRAY of items that match that selector.

    I wanted to see "1" so I would know for sure that DOM element is found.

    And it is.

    I use...
  11. Re: After Validation Error, my Input Mask function doesn't work on field

    There is where I was heading - to find what code was running in the invalid data condition...

    Where you put that line of code - break at that spot - and at an immediate prompt

    What does this...
  12. Re: After Validation Error, my Input Mask function doesn't work on field

    Sorry - didn't see that.

    Put a break at the IF statement here - does it break at that location?

    success: function(response) {

  13. Re: After Validation Error, my Input Mask function doesn't work on field

    If the READY event is not firing the second time then you are using AJAX also, I would guess.

    Please show me the JAVASCRIPT code that runs when the data is submitted.
  14. Re: After Validation Error, my Input Mask function doesn't work on field

    You say the second time the breakpoint is not hit.

    What if you set a breakpoint at the top of the READY event? Does it break the second time? If so then step through and see where it veers off....
  15. Re: After Validation Error, my Input Mask function doesn't work on field

    Can you set a break at this line of code

    $("#birthdate").inputmask("99/99/9999");

    using something like FireBug?

    Also - why are you submitting the whole form to validate a birthdate?

    Re: access database structure design

    Ok - so there are lots of ways to modify data. I've seen many systems where you click on a ROW in a DGV and that RECORD data then appears in TEXTBOX's and such on the screen for you to modify.

    For the most part when I allow someone to call up a "person" it is from some kind of drop down or "autocomplete".

    Bottom line is that the data structure you create has to fit the real-world requirements of the entity being modeled.
