And what have done yourself?
This is VB.Net code, not VB6 or earlier
Then I would like to see the original code.
As stated before, you can not convert a VB6 project to .Net automatically, it will fail hopelessly
Better convert/rewrite it by hand, or do not convert...
I thought I had messed up the zoom settings, but as it seems I'm not the only one :P
Is the shown code the original code or the converted code?
If you read the thread you got the code from, you can see that it was written to encrypt files, not to generate a hash of a complete file, which is what these algorithmes normally are used for.
That is because you defined student_id as string/text in your database table.
We warned you before that this is a bad idea.
The text is probably separated by vbCrLf.
Lookup the Split() function in the help.
That would give you a start.
Do you use a timer control?
I would use a local variable on a module level:
Private m_dTimer As Double
Private Sub DragStart()
I created a new project with only the given code.
Running from the IDE as running the compiled "Project1.exe" give both the same result:
So there must be something in your project, some other...
Private Sub OpenExe_Click()
OpenExe = Shell("C:\Test.exe", vbNormalFocus)
I get the following error:
Run-time error '53', File not found.
Which is logical, because...
Private Sub txtid_KeyPress(KeyAscii As Integer)
If KeyAscii = vbKeyReturn Or KeyAscii = vbKeyTab Then
MsgBox "KeyAscii: " & CStr(KeyAscii)
Besides the advice given by Phil, also check this line:
If Not IsNull(LTrim(RTrim(irec.Fields("dt_returned")))) Then
.TextMatrix(r, 7) = LTrim(RTrim(irec.Fields("dt_returned")))
Maybe this discussion on StackOverflow can help you further:
The actual image has to be embedded in the HTMLbody and should not be a reference.
Have a look at this page for a sample:
Are you sure student_id is of type string?
In VB6 you need to dim all variables one at the time
In this situation start1, start2 and start3 are Variants
Dim start1, start2, start3, start4 As Long
Dim end1, end2, end3, end4 As Long
Gosh Salsa, if you took a few seconds to read the given page by Sam:
' This function converts a Gregorian date into the Hebrew date. The
' function returns the hebrew month as a string in...
You need to explain what you are doing!
Show the source code in which the error occurs.
Also state which version of SQL Server you are using.
Can you explain which component or class you are using for printing?
Because the my VB6 doesn't know about Printer.StartDoc only Printer.KillDoc and Printer.EndDoc
This is not something from VB6.
Are you using VBA in Word or are you using VB.NET?
Or are you using the StartDoc API?
According to me the explanation is also given:
All license plates on all cars are on different positions.
So you should take a picture from a fixed angle and a fixed zoom so that in most cases you will have a complete front (or back) view of the...
Get yourself a camera, walk to a car and take a picture...
What is your actual programming related question?
It's the same as getting a value from a class, assuming you DLL is a VB6 activex DLL
Public Property Get MyValue() As Double
MyValue = m_MyValue
You can always use "Owner-Drawn Cells"
The True DB Grid is a commercial control from ComponentOne and comes with documentation and help files.
So you should be able to find what you need in the samples and/or the documentation.
My bad, I assumed it was MSXML 4.0.
Then you should install MSXML 3.0 on the target machine.
To start you have hardcoded all paths in your code.
You really should use relative paths, otherwise it will only work with this exact drive/folder/file structure.
Nothing wrong with the code itself, it only expects MSXML 4.0 to be installed on the target machine.
On some system I experienced timing problems when doing a ClipBoard.Clear followed by an immediate ClipBoard.SetText.
I resolved this by placing a Sleep call between the two statements.
The KeyPress event is raised before the .Text property is updated.
If you want to cancel the KeyPress then you can set the KeyAscii value to 0.
Then call the query in the Change() event.
You need to share more code.
What are you doing with strglobal and what is in shbook(MSFlxgd)
Also, what are you doing with the KeyAscii variable?
You are not using after all the manipulation
Start within Excel using the Macro Recorder and see what code is generated to draw lines.
Then migrate the code to VB6.
Check the If Then with closing End If
Then you are using VB.NET, this section is dedicated to VB6 and older.
So ask your question in a new thread in the correct forum.
