    If you want the whole row to be selected set the Listview FullRowSelect property to true.

    ListBox.HorizontalScrollbar Property , When this property is set to true, the scroll bar is automatically displayed based on the width of items in the ListBox.

    Looks like you're trying to use SendKeys, that wont work for windows that don't have the input focus. You'll need to get the handle of the control that you want to send data to (like text) using APIs...

    I haven't looked at IL, but turning off overflow changed the results, when compiled as x86 their is basically no difference at all between the tests, but under x64 TestType1 is now around 7.7% faster.

    I always have optimization on and use Return.

    TestType1 is slower in my testing, but when compiled as x64 there is virtually no difference, < 0.03%, but compiled as x86 TestType1 is slower...

    A lot of properties/methods are named for exactly what they do, type the name of the control followed by a period char and the Visual Studio's IntelliSense list should be shown....
