Re: Timer Control Not Turning Off

    Yes it is.
    I don't know of any.

Sometimes a typo like Timer2.Interval = 0 instead of Timer1.Interval = 0 is a culprit in what you are describing (Where Timer1 is the one you want to...
  4. Re: How to retrieve boolean value from access mdb field into radio button.

Oh, also....IF you DO use a boolean field in your database (and you may for several reasons depending upon what you are doing), I might suggest the use of a checkBox in lieu of a radio...

Re: Detecting When Excel Shuts Down

Like stum, not sure how you expect to 'handle' the user shutting down excel. Let's say you open excel with your program. Will the user add sheets, change cells, etc in Excel itself, or do you have...
  7. Re: How to retrieve boolean value from access mdb field into radio button.

I erred in my past post...I assumed that your employee numbers would be sequential....probably wouldn't be in real life as employees come and go...so simplified it some, and only used one query to...

    Poll: Re: vb6 runtime error

Agree DM that empid is probably a string....probably also not a good plan....much easier to 'add 1' to an integer than a string. If the "E" is necessary, then that may be a different story, but in...

    Poll: Re: vb6 runtime error

Is your Dim statement in the Declarations section of the form? If not, your button (cndadd) --(You sure that is not cmdadd?) will throw an error as "id" would not be defined within the function.

    Re: Control BackColor

There are several controls that can be added to a form that do not have backcolor properties. A commondialog control, like a timer control, etc, is one of these.
You have to identify those and...

  20. Re: how to prevent that at the input to the msflexgrid not duplicate

What do you want to prevent duplication of? Kode? Does it matter if the OTHER columns may be the same?

If it is Kode, then do this:

    Private Sub Command2_Click()
    Dim baris As Integer

Re: saving decimal only to max value

From what I understand about decimal fields in mySQL is that you can have 65 digits. So, I would think, if you want a precision of 2 (2 digits after the decimal point) and want numbers larger than...
  28. Re: Save query result to database table.

Tired of going back and forth between two threads....

Why don't you just work with gibra on the other one and get that done before you come back to this one.

    outa here (for now)
  29. Re: what is this run-time error ?

    are the values sometimes decimals?

If so, have a look at this:

  32. Re: Save query result to database table.

No, I want to see what your TCmd.CommandText is. You are telling me it is blank?????
  33. Re: Saving MSHFLEXGRID data to table

You set cell 1,1 to "2" Or 2,
try it with 0,0 as that is the cell you say you are on (that is, you say fRow is 0).
It sure seems to me that cell (0,0) is NOT a number.
  34. Re: Save query result to database table.

Well, I see plenty wrong then. For Access, you need to use "#" in lieu of "'" around your date values..

Second, I find it very strange that you say NOTHING is printed out with Debug.Print...
  35. Re: Saving MSHFLEXGRID data to table

I think then, that we are heading down the wrong path...Are you positive the line on which you are getting the error is this one?

    x1Id = CInt(FlexReport.TextMatrix(fRow, 0)?
  36. Re: Saving MSHFLEXGRID data to table

AND, you can put a 2 in a grid cell with something like this

    grid.textmatrix(1,1) = 2

    OR

    grid.textmatrix(1,1) = "2"
  37. Re: Saving MSHFLEXGRID data to table

I take back what I said earlier (post #11).

VB will automatically convert the 'text' to a number with this:

    Dim xlId as Integer
    xlId = flexReport.TextMatrix(frow, 0)

    as long as the 'value'...
  38. Re: Saving MSHFLEXGRID data to table

    On this line? x1Id = CInt(FlexReport.TextMatrix(fRow, 0)?

If so, what is the value of fRow when you get the error? AND, what is the value of the cell (fRow, 0) at that time? It has to be a...
  39. Re: what is this run-time error ?

Maybe (although OP says it works most of the time)...but Googling the error, several hits discuss field lengths (not being long enough to handle what is trying to be inserted) as being a possible...
  40. Re: what is this run-time error ?

    Are you using SQL Server?
Did you check the LENGTH of each field (in your db) and compare that with the length of a string from your msflexgrid cell(s) to see if the field is long enough to handle...
