Norton is artificially bumping up their new software sales numbers. The last time I had to resubscribe for virus definitions they told me it would cost $49.99 while to upgrade to the latest and...

I hope the Phillies will win. I haven't been into baseball since the "year without a world series" back in the 90's but I'd still like my home team to do well.

Is it anything like touch typing? I blame the Nintendo DS though. Ever since it came out with the its "good to touch" ad.

I prefer playing them on a console. I never cared for the mouse and keyboard.

COD 4 was an awesome game! I'm hoping Modern Warefare 2 is just as good. I have my Xbox 360 copy reserved.

Its definitely better to be beaten in Galaga than Singapore. I think caning is still legal there.

Yep its a 270. I think those duplicates are by design though or at least an unintended side effect. I read on their message board of people with similar issues.

Welcome back. :) In the past I used to return when VBforums sent me a birthday email. Lately I've been hanging around a lot more.

I'm a bit anal when it comes to things like this. Its kind of like dealing with dent and scratch furniture. If I buy a TV (or any appliance) and have it delivered I want it to be scratch/dent free....

No I haven't noticed any problems. Right now it appears to be a cosmetic issue. But I didn't intend to buy a netbook with this "feature". If it was an issue that I caused by screwing up an upgrade or...

My issue is that I just bought the computer. My concern is that they won't take it back and instead will "fix" it. I've had a few friends send their PCs in for repair only to have more problems after...

Has anyone ever dealt with multiple device entries in Device Manager? I bought an ASUS netbook a little while ago and recently noticed that I have extra entries for CPU, display adapter and monitor...

I went with the 5GB Verizon plan. So far so good. I can connect just fine. I bought an ASUS eee 1005HA. Typing is a little awkward but other than that I really like it.
I did run into one issue...

Mmm...Pigeon....
I some times feel that way about the email system at my company. I could walk papers over to the next building before they arrive via email. Our network is slow but not that slow....

I recommend reading through some of the links posted on the Database Development FAQs & Tutorials. There's quite a bit of info there that should help.

No. My company has been cracking down on internet usage ever since our bandwidth fees went through the roof. The problem was that many people were downloading videos, music and playing flash games....

I think the color tags were meant for the post and not included in the actual SQL. You may also have to format Test_Dt depending on what is stored there.

I've been thinking about getting a netbook for a little while now. What spurred this on was my works decision to block nearly everything worthwhile on the intarwebs. :eek2:
I am looking at Verizon...

Credit card companies make money with each purchase. I do not want to give them anything. I'm tired of all of the crap I've had to deal with from them over the years. I am much better off without...

I'm dumping my credit card shortly. They are increasing my rate from 9% to 17% for no other reason than because they can. I got into a long discussion with one of their supervisors. It seems they...

I picked "Go up to the cockpit for a better view of the ground rushing up at you". The passenger area of the plane would be full of people screaming, ruining the last few minutes I had left alive.

Another option would be to have your database hosted online. There are some free and low cost web host companies that offer a database and active server pages. This way your data would be available...

Sounds like the pefect "made for TV" movie. Wow. How is she doing?

Welcome to VBForums.
If I understand you correctly this should get you what you need. Instead of seeing if CostID is equal to the number three you can check to see if the CostID is in a...

There's a typo in one SQL statement in frmBookingForm_Load.
daCustomer.UpdateCommand = New OleDbCommand("UPDATE Customer SET Title = @Title,

That's great news. :) Do you wear glasses? I used to get headaches everyday while at work. It turns out that I needed glasses. Ever since I started wearing them while doing computer work my headaches...

What database are you using? You might be able to create a view and use that.

Sam Adams
I don't drink alcohol much but I do enjoy a glass of wine every now and then. I do like Sam Adams but not many other brands of beer.

In some respects, a zombie "plague" resembles a lethal, rapidly spreading infection.

I know but I am old and not as active.

10 years! That's like a decade or something. Congrats. :)

I see it now. Sorry for that. :(

A disconnected recordset might be the way to go. You can store the data as an XML file. This article is a good intro.

My way of joining tables is outdated. I recommend Si's way. He's much more experienced than I am. Its odd that you'd get different results though.
