    Create the form as a User Control in .net... mark it for com registration... build ... add a reference to your VB6 app... then create an instance of the UC, and add it to a VB6 form... should be OK....

    1) I personally dislike #1... it's not a portable format and is hard to read. Since it is in effect an INNER JOIN ... it shoujldn't change anything.
    2) That doesn't solve the problem, it just covers...

    I use it mostly because I can't guarantee someone else won't come along and shuffle up the field order to fit their needs because they're re-using the sproc... But more often than not, I'm using a DT...
