    Re: Frickin' Lasers for Eyes!

    FD,
I suggest you take an extended sea-voyage without wearing glasses.

    Yes.
  6. Re: Does Oracle have a DEVELOPERS edition like MS SQL?

Burleson Consulting has a blog post about this. For your specific case, you need to start at STEP 3.
  7. Re: Oracle question - reading the server log files

Since the client user is "NT_AUTHORITY\SYSTEM", it looks like the database was shutdown by a job.

There is a very similar thread on the Oracle Forums.
  8. Re: Does Oracle have a DEVELOPERS edition like MS SQL?

I just spoke with my DBA and he said he does this all the time. However the operating systems have to be the same. This is based on his experience. You cannot copy a file from a Unix operating system...
  9. Re: Does Oracle have a DEVELOPERS edition like MS SQL?

Yes. Oracle has the full edition available for download. Express editions are also available.

  22. Re: Worthy android project for beginner (not games)

    Re: SQL Query in app.config

I would go with the store proc instead of a SELECt in the App.Config file.

I suppose most of the answers you're going to get are going to be along the lines of "don't put a SELECT statement in...

Re: delete record where column is timestamp

Just a word of caution to the OP. TimeStamp in Sql Server is not a datetime column. It is a column that stores bytes and it is typically used for row-versioning.

Re: How To Detect If iPhone Is Plugged In?

The first step you need to take is enumerate all the devices that are connected to your USB ports.

Then in theory, you can probably identify a iPhone from the list.

All variables start with a lower case. All constants start with an UPPER CASE.
