    Re: javascript, DatePiccker problem

I would suggest just using <input type="date" /> and then including webshim in your project. This will polyfill a datepicker for browsers that don't provide one natively.

Re: Adding Icon / Image on Top Center of LI tag

    http://codepen.io/anon/pen/iykGc

What do you mean by "top center" position? On top of the nav>ul>li? Maybe try adding the image as a CSS background-image instead of the <img/> tag?

  14. Re: Limit the value that can be entered to a text box

You can do this using HTML5 form validation without any JavaScript. You will need to ensure that your target browser supports the correct attributes. If not, you can just polyfill using webshim.

  15. Re: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource

You can, but the remote server on another domain also needs to be configured to send the correct headers to allow connections from your domain.

    Re: Re-sizing stuff

Dodgy coding? You would need to create a CSS class to add to the top-level element and then prefix all style definitions in your .css with this class. ie. effectively "namespacing" for your css.

Re: How to load optional CSS files

If you need to do the custom loading from inside JavaScript, then I would suggest something like yepnope.js. Using CSS Media Queries is preferable, as it doesn't require any JavaScript.

Re: How to load optional CSS files

Sounds like you want to use CSS Media Queries. That will let you load different CSS stylesheets based on screen/viewport size.

  19. Re: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource

CORS is what you want to use, if your browser supports it. Otherwise, you would be stuck with the older, less secure JSON-P.

You need to enable it on the server-side to allow it to work properly....

You could also golf it a bit by removing the second ||.

  39. Re: VS when "debugging" Javascript does not like this technique

You do have to be careful that the left operand of the || is not accidentally "truthy" when you really wanted it to be "falsey".

  40. Re: VS when "debugging" Javascript does not like this technique

Is "fullremakeonsave" supposed to be a property or a method? Did you see errors in the other browser consoles (Firefox web inspector, Chromium devtools, Opera dragonfly)?
