    Re: Arithmetic and nested loops

    lstf2count should be lstf2.listcount

That's the FIRST thing I see
  2. Re: VB6-Extract Data from csv files in 3 different folder and update into 1 final fol

Well, I don't know about all that (I am sure it probably works just fine), but for the OP, here is my example (A lot of things could be done to it for errorchecking, overwriting, and other stuff),...
  3. Re: [RESOLVED] VB6 Highlight Textbox Contents

I see. Awesome. Have a great day!
  4. Re: [RESOLVED] VB6 Highlight Textbox Contents

No problem (and it's Zvoni, not Zvoin---my fingers get confused.)

However, again, why are you setting the focus to this textbox in a keypress event OF that textbox...it already has focus.
  5. Re: VB6 Highlight Textbox Contents

Confused. Doesn't the textbox already have focus?
Not to steal Zvoin's suggestion, but I believe he means something as simple as this:

    Private Sub txtISBN_KeyPress(KeyAscii As Integer)
    If...

Well, good morning......would kinda like to see what you coded, then we can better figure out the 'possible mistakes'. Can you copy-paste the applicable code, wrap it in code tags (The little "#" on...
  16. Re: Textbox , ADODB , Datagrid

Although I don't use datagrids (i like the more flexible MSFlex and MSHFlex Grids) I suspect the DataGrid (DG) works similarly (except it doesn't have TextMatrix).

Anyway, you have to code your...

  18. Re: VB6-Extract Data from csv files in 3 different folder and update into 1 final fol

  19. Re: VB6-Extract Data from csv files in 3 different folder and update into 1 final fol

  27. Re: [RESOLVED] Trying to SetFocus on a ListView

I don't see how Navion's solution would work....simply ignoring the exception (error) wouldn't, in my mind, allow you to setFocus to a control that can't accept it....thrown exception or not. It...

    Re: A run-time error 5

Also, you might try a 'simple' program....one without, first, any control using mscomctl, and then second, one without the commondialog ocx. That way, you can eliminate those two, or determine which...

  39. Re: VB6-Extract Data from csv files in 3 different folder and update into 1 final fol

Yes, read each .csv file by looping through each line and using instr() or split() functions, extract what you want, and then write it out to your new file. Easy.

    EDIT: I'm assuming the serial...
