Re: Why does MSCOMCTL.OCX give me an error?

If i remember correctly, you have to register the OCX from the System32-folder, not the Syswow64 (64-Bit OS?).
I had the same issue with 64-Bit-Windows, and placing it in the System32, registering...

Re: Why does MSCOMCTL.OCX give me an error?

OK, so i'll throw in another solution, that worked for me:

The reason why that OCX stopped working for me, was, that a windows update disabled that control in the registry.
    Finding several...

Re: Problems with exporting to excel

    Two things:
is that just a typing error?
in your MkDir you have "Taget" as foldername (an "r" missing?)

you're using xls as the file-extension which implies Excel2003 or older.
    if i remember...

Re: change background color in cell of listview

As far as i know not possible in Office/VBA, since the only way to change the backcolor of a listview in VB is with a picture-box, and you don't have picturebox in VBA

    EDIT: Of course, you could...
  9. Re: TextOut: printed text displaced on paper, correct when printing to PDF

Just a thought: The PDF and the real printer use the same paper-"size"?
e.g. PDF is set to A4, while the real printer is set to letter
  10. Re: Join listbox value into one string

Why not just put the Listitems into an array, and then use the Join-Function?
No need to wrack your brain, why there is a leading or trailing comma.....
  11. Re: TextOut: printed text displaced on paper, correct when printing to PDF

Then the only explanation i'd have is, that the "real" printer displaces the position due to border-issues (which logically a PDF-Printer shouldn't have)
since CurrentX and CurrentY are logical...
  12. Re: TextOut: printed text displaced on paper, correct when printing to PDF

    OK.
    let's do it this way:

Debug your code and read all values before printing.
CurrentX, CurrentY, Printer.ScaleWidth etc. and everything else.
Read them for your PDF-Printer, and then read...

    Not sure about this one:

Since a pointer is a 32-bit integer (a Long) i would have expected

  16. Re: [Excel] Need to read Excel file and generate SQL Insert statements

  17. Re: [Excel 2010 - VB 7.1] finding "TargetRow" for User Form

Re: Finding word on Text File

Agree with Sam. Your input-file leaves a lot to be desired.

Re: Running a form depending on login

Such posts always baffle me, in that the OP basically answers his own problem without noticing it.

Even if a Select Case is too tall an order, this at least should give him a clue:
  20. Re: [Excel 2010 - VB 7.1] finding "TargetRow" for User Form

    And there is your Problem:

Your Variable "Myrow" is Public from the Worksheet-Object, meaning:
It works like a property of the Worksheet (Sheet10 in your case)

You either have to address it in...
  21. Re: [Excel 2010 - VB 7.1] finding "TargetRow" for User Form

And you've entered something in a cell in Column 6 (meaning: you've triggered the Change-Event)?
Why don't you just put a breakpoint inside the event, then you can see, if/when it's triggered

  26. Re: Excel: Import sheets from various workbooks into another workbook using VBA

    Re: Read Text From .txt

  33. Re: Read A Text File Into Multi Dimensional Array

    Eh?
sMyarray is a 2D-Array in the first code, but is used as the result for a split-function in the second code?
How is that supposed to work?

    Split returns a 1D-Array

  35. Re: How can i split a string into an array and sort it?

    As for the algorithm:...
