    Listview lvwList and fullrowselect?

Is there a way to get 'fullrowselect' when using View=lvwList, Now it only highlights the text itself, but not the whole cell. Another thing which also is annoying is that you actually have to select...
  3. Re: Getting actual caret position of a textbox that does NOT have the focus

Well EM_GetSel does return the 'SelStart' and 'SelEnd' (hi/low word of the function return value), but in the lParam it only returns 'SelEnd', but you're right, in the end EM_GetSel returns the same...
  4. Re: Getting actual caret position of a textbox that does NOT have the focus

hehe, yes, that's what I was running into, if you select stuff from back to front, the SelStart and SelLength aren't going to help you, and only when the textbox has the focus GetCaretPos will work,...
  5. Getting actual caret position of a textbox that does NOT have the focus

I can't seem to find out how to get the actual caretposition in a textbox (regardless if it has the focus).

the winapi function GetCaretPos only gets the caret position of the control that has the...
  6. Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

Ohw.. those can be annoying bugs to track down... As you wouldn't expect a [b]with[b] statement to produce any different working as using it directly.. good job..
  7. Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

LOL, that seems to be a bug yeah, clear should always be able to work with an empty list.. haha.. but I guess that'll be an easy fix..

  11. Re: crash on inet.GetChunk (on one particular machine)

No, it's GetChunk that really crashes, it's a crash that 'On Error goto' cannot trap.. So there is no return value as the command itself is the culprit.. but thanx for suggesting..
  12. Re: crash on inet.GetChunk (on one particular machine)

  13. crash on inet.GetChunk (on one particular machine)

I use something like the following code, which sends some data to a server and the server returns a HTML file.
I've never heard of any clients having any problems with it, but now there is one other...
  14. Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

Are you sure the problem isn't with the older RC.exe maybe not supporting 32-bit icons? try loading a 32bit icon as a form icon and you also get an error in VB. Just like the later windows don't...

Re: VB Classic (A True VB 7.0)

But implementing it from the start makes sure you won't have any problems later on.. Also with modern MDI you can just drag a window out of the MDI-parent (at least in VS.NET) so in some way you do...

Re: VB Classic (A True VB 7.0)

Why restrict to only *.cls and *.bas, VB6 is more than those alone.. *.frm (and the usercontrol ones) are just as important.. I know *.cls and *.bas are the easiest to do, but one of the reasons...

  23. Re: Windows 7 64-bit -- Library Not Registered problem

    It's propably because Windows 7 got a newer version of MSCOMCTL.OCX (2.1) which I guess isn't available on XP (Object={831FDD16-0C5C-11D2-A9FC-0000F8754DA1}#2.1#0; MSCOMCTL.OCX)
