    as excel would see the formatted string as numeric, therefore right aligned in the cell, the icon would need to be in the next column?

    if you are doing this from within outlook, it is unnecessary to create an instance of outlook

    try replacing this part

    it just wraps the part of your code that saves attachments within a criteria of todays emails
    only the first and last line of the sample are added the other 4 are your existing code

    either check the date of itm before saving

    or look at the calling procedure (rather than the above procedure) to save the older ones first, so the newer will overwrite the older

    sorry i have no access to a global list as i am not on a domain here, probably why i was not sure about the ID
    contactlist items, in my outlook, have no id field, that i am aware of

    does this mean you need to look in all the stored emails?

    if you create a new (non-existant) recipient they still have an ID, so i have no idea what the ID relates to, if anything

    as excel 9.0 refers to excel 2000, i guess this could be the problem

    maybe the desktop had an earlier version of excel installed previously, allowing it to still work

    have you considered pdf forms, just about everyone has a pdf viewer, that can fill forms, or even an online web form, hard to mess with those

    how about using masked edit boxes, at least it would...
