    7zip by far is the best no nonsense compression format and is supported on both platforms.It's compression ratio is far better than zip or rar.

    VirtualdubMod is more for video editing and conversion.If you are looking for audio editors only go for audacity.

    Also have a look at Nandub ,pretty similar to virtualdubmod .Also,I remember...

    Sure,but you can't install/run Vista on a P200MMX which is what vista could learn from Linux.

    I wonder if CE/XPe can be installed on a normal system and upgraded to a full fledged system ?
