  1. ASP Datagrid - numbers being sorted like text

I have an ASP datagrid which was some columns that contain numbers. However, when I sort, it's sorting them alphabetically. For example:

    0
    1
    10
    2
    23
    30

How can I get it to sort them as...

Thanks, guys - I'll try that.
  5. Re: Saving an email attachment to a different domain using EWS

    Thanks for the answers, guys.

TG: One thing I'm confused about with impersonation is that usually I would use a File.Move to move the file. How can I be two different users when doing that - the...
  6. Re: Saving an email attachment to a different domain using EWS

Hmmm. Okay, maybe I shouldn't have asked a bunch of VB developers!

I think my only option is to save it locally on my current domain and then use impersonation (another new thing for me!) to copy...
  7. [RESOLVED] Saving an email attachment to a different domain using EWS

I've written an application that will read the emails in a given mailbox and save the attachments. Unfortunately, I've now been told that they will have to be saved to a network location on another...

In addition to Gaelic, there is also a language called Scots which is in reasonably widespread use. Historically, Scots was the language used by lowland Scots and Gaelic was used by Highlanders....

    RIP Terry.

Entertaining, clever, inventive and hilarious until the end. I'm going to miss that huge stable of characters and belly-laughs.

    [RESOLVED] Set or Select?

On the MSDN site, I came across this statement:

It doesn't give any context or reason for this. Does anyone know why that's the recommended syntax? It just seems a little clumsier to write:

No, that's not what I said at all. My point is that they seem to be incapable of looking at it as anything other than a matter of race. Their stance is that it is inherently racist for a white cop to...

I seem to recall hearing that this was the case. It's also the reason why it's so difficult to buy and sell second-hand games for the One.

    Re: Ferguson

I think a large part of the problem is racism on the part of the rioters. There seems to be an automatic assumption on their part that because the cop was white and the guy he killed was black, that...
  21. Specifying date format when reading XML into SQL

Must admit, I didn't know that this was an expected side effect. I don't think I would go for a treatment that improves one aspect of your vision at the expense of another. :(
  23. Re: Reaching another database using dynamic SQL

Thanks for pointing me back towards sp_ExecuteSQL. I had tried that initially but was getting strange errors that made no sense to me. However, my issue actually turned out to be that I...
  24. Reaching another database using dynamic SQL

I want to get some data from another database. The name of the other database can change depending on the context, so I figured I'd build the SQL dynamically and execute it. However, it's not doing...

Re: Taking the "U" out of the UK

    [RESOLVED] or !=
