    Hello.
If this is not possible then I suppose I can create a parameter filed and prompt the user to select a value from this.
The problem is that the values would be in the same table multiple...

Re: vb.net 2010 cant display asp page

    Hi.
    First MSGBOX will not do.
At best it will show internally in the server the app is run at.
So you will only be able to see that inside the server and not from a web application.
    If you need...

  10. Re: [RESOLVED] trying to use" in" with a variable

Nice :) . Vaguely remember using charindex, had to look it up now.
Well I don't know if these where "dirty" solutions or not but I used to use them back then since the DB tables were not 10 million...
  11. Re: [RESOLVED] trying to use" in" with a variable

    Found it!

    WHERE
    ','+@variable+',' LIKE '%,'+[description]+',%'
  12. Re: [RESOLVED] trying to use" in" with a variable

Gary's also a good solution. Again this was an one off but will keep that in mind.
And again. I'm pretty sure a parameter can be tricked with a like..
As I'm at home I'm searching old SQL code ...
  13. Re: trying to use" in" with a variable

    That is a good solution.
I've changed a lot of data so I can't implement it now but will keep it for other issues in the future.
    Thanks.

  16. Re: select between nvarchar (bigint like) numbers

    Hi.
So by your example, doing this:

select * from tblstock where vstock_strbookletident between '11230000590' and '11230000599'

    Will also work(?)
So I was converting to bigint without...
  17. Re: select between nvarchar (bigint like) numbers

    Correct.
    Dammit!

  18. Re: select between nvarchar (bigint like) numbers

    Ok.

  19. Re: select between nvarchar (bigint like) numbers

Hmmm, yes it think i thought right before "(I'm guessing the last number of the value is between 0 and 9? )". That's helpful but I think not in this case as the range will not always be starting from...
  20. Re: select between nvarchar (bigint like) numbers

I will test - see to it on Monday but I'm almost sure that , at least for a range I was given, there is no "strange" value, as among other ranges, I have a specific range with 20 numbers and I can...

    Then DateAdd(dd, 5 - DatePart(dw, @TestDate), @TestDate)
    Else DateAdd(dd, -(2 +...
  30. Re: Triggers, destroyers of worlds, and a way to view when they are hit.

What I see that they have done here is using them to step to other databases and insert-update the exact same data changes.
That has probably been done as there was a migration of systems at some...

  35. Re: Triggers, destroyers of worlds, and a way to view when they are hit.

Re: JS Vs. PHP (Read for details)
