[The variable length quantity I am refering to is what is used in a midi file.]
I was wondering if anyone knew of a module that would read/write an 8 byte hex value (the variable length quantity). I have been tring to study all of the refrence material on the midi file structure that I can, but I still haven't been able to grasp the conversion process for variable length quantities.
If there aren't any modules, can someone point me in the right direction, because I am totally lost.
