How to run Windows 7 Compatibility Mode via command line?
I want to install old software on Windows 7, but with the compatibility mode (for XP Service Pack 2).
I can do this using the Wizard or by changing the file properties to run in that mode.
However, is there a Run Command line option to run a setup.exe under compatibility mode?
For example:
cmd> c:\windows\system32\compatibility.exe "c:\program files\setup.exe" XPSP2
Something like that?

What kind of old software?
For installers you shouldn't have to try and run it in compatibility mode, either the installer works on Win7 or it doesn't.
Also keep in mind that if you're running 64Bit Windows, even with the compatibility mode it simply will not run 16 Bit apps.
