I need a million dollar idea.
So guys, I am now accepting donations of your million dollar ideas. I need a new project to work on, one that preferably turns a very large amount of profit. I am coming to that age (almost 21) where I need to have at least a 6 figure bank account, which I am far from.
So, throw your ideas at me, I will give you credit after I make the first 6 figures. You should probably only give me the ideas if you are already very wealthy. That way you don't screw yourself over.
Re: I need a million dollar idea.
Does that include the change? My monthly salary is six figures if you count all of them.
However, if you are only counting the part to the left of the decimal, then how about a lemonade stand?
There's a one dollar idea. Now you only need another 999,999 more
Re: I need a million dollar idea.
Have you considered drug dealing? I get the impression that's quite profitable.
Re: I need a million dollar idea.
So you don't need any code?
Re: I need a million dollar idea.
How about smuggling nuclear material into Iran? That should be very lucrative.

I can't even legally acknowledge that statement, but I have dabbled in the subject. You would think that it is profitable, but then you have to consider the extended business costs. You need atleast $10,000 stashed as bail money, another $10,000 in case you get robbed. You have to sell drugs you aren't willing to do, or you lose profit, but usually you aren't even willing to sell them. Then the simple code of drug dealing:
Code:
If risk > profit Then
Exit Sub
Else
For drug = 1 to supply
profit = drug * supply(value - cost)
Next

Code that produces an idea that will make me $1,000,000 or code that I can sell for profits above 6 figures.

I'm going to have to speak with my legal adviser about that, Chuck Norris never gives bad advice.
Re: I need a million dollar idea.
Hmm.. Why not kidnap Justin Bieber and ask for ransom amount ! :p
Easy cash + fame ;)

Nah, what you do is hang around likely spots hoping to catch hold of Zira and Cornelius when they arrive from the future. Steal their baby Caesar as breeding stock to create a new race of low-paid workers to work in Apple's no-name sweatshops making ever cheaper consumer goods.
Better build a bunker though, eventually they'll revolt and suppress humanity.

What, you are 21 and don't have a 6 figure bank account?
Why not write a book called "how to get rich writing VB code in your sleep!"

Re: I need a million dollar idea.
Sell yourself
By that, I mean, remove individual protons from your body, suspend them in an electromagnetic field and sell them to the LHR for $1 each.

Waste Management - one of the last occupations that can't be outsourced.
Re: I need a million dollar idea.
Another simple idea: marry the daughter of a millionaire ! :P
I tried approaching Bill Gates's daughter. Not sure why they didn't accepted my proposal. :D
Am I not good enough to become his son-in-law?
