when enter a date into a table, i am getting as time format in MS access

Hi When i try to insert a date into a table, its inserting as a time format i have no idea. Can anyone please help me. Thanks

How are you trying to insert date into table?
Are you using VBA? If yes do you put "#" signs around date?
What data type is field that you are trying to insert date to?
