[RESOLVED] Youtube videos fail to load completely
As of recently, most of the Youtube videos I try to watch load only partially, for example, only one minute or so for a 4 minute long video.
This started more or less when my router went on the fritz and I replaced it by a new one, so I fancy it might be some setting perhaps placing a limitation, but I have no clue.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player to no avail.
Re: Youtube videos fail to load completely
Did you try checking it from another network/computer? How about your friends, do they experience a similar problem?
If you suspect the router, you could always reset it to factory settings and then reconfigure it, paying attention to all the settings you are setting.

Indeed, the same problem occurs from any computer using the same (home) network.

Yes, I thought I would do that but first I thought I'd ask in case it was a straightforward thing.

Have you tried a different browser? Some of the videos on youtube, no longer employ flash technology. Does your browser support HTML5?

I'm using Firefox 8 and Chrome 16. The thing is there wasn't any problem before the router was replaced.
Re: Youtube videos fail to load completely
Then obviously that's the first place you should check.

Re: [RESOLVED] Youtube videos fail to load completely
I had forgotten to set this thread resolved.
My new router turned out to be defective as well and had to be replaced. As a matter of fact, it gave other internet connection problems like unexpected disconnections.
Now all's well.
