Is it at all possible to change the entire system's font size. Taskbar, Icons, anything you can think of... is it possible with a registry key or perhaps the msstyles files?

Just open your display properties (via Control Panel, or by right clicking on the desktop) and select the Appearance tab - there is a Font Size option.
The person who needs this done has tried that and is apparently VERY picky, she wants all fonts changed... taskbar... icons... everything. Apparently that wont' do it for her... oh, I might add she refuses to select all the things under advanced and set them manually.
well im pretty sure there isnt another way to do it so if shes that picky then she better get either change it herself or get used to having the fonts the way they are
She apparently has changed it before in the past, but apparently can't remember how she did it...so it is possible to change them, just not sure how.
could she have applied a theme that changed them?
Honestly, I have no idea what this girl did. I think i'll just tell her tough cookies lol.
Right click the desktop, Properties, Appearance... Then do as the attached photo does :p piece of cake :)
The way you showed is exactly how I told her to do it, she rejected it as a solution saying it "wasn't what she did before." But like I said, I just told her tough cookies.
