JS template hack suggestion - Jpync?
Maybe we could remove the Resolved icon (http://www.vbforums.com/images/ieimages/2004/10/1.gif) from newthread.php, so that newbies don't create threads that look like they are resolved when they are not :)

Don't you look for [Resolved] in the name?
But it's a good idea anyway, I don't think anybody uses this icon for a new thread
Re: JS template hack suggestion - Jpync?
I have only seen a new thread be created with my Green Resolved Checkmark subject icon 2 times since its been put into place. It was introduced almost 2 years ago, so once per year "mistake" is realy acceptable and makes adding any Hack unnecessary. I cant believe that its going to be 2 years next month that we have been using it. :)

Yes. But some people edit and add the checkmark to mean the thread is resolved. I usually tell them to use the Mark Thread Resolved thingy, but still.

You don't look hard enough! :) I've seen it countless times.
Anyway, it's not very important, but neither was the character counter :p Just an idea if someone has some spare time.

Spare time - You are a programmer arent you? You should know there is no such thing as "spare time". ;)
Once in a while it may happen. If it does its usually from a noob so a polite message usually is all that it takes and it wont happen again from them, at least if they want members to read their thread and help. :)
