About:
Scrolls the latest threads, showing number of replies and last poster.

Notifies you when there has been a reply or new post to a selected forum.

Created and tested on US English Windows XP Pro(SP3) 32-bit with VB6 Pro(SP5).

HTML parsing code tested on vBulletin® v3.7.6(XtremeSystems) and v3.8.1(VBForums).

Requires Windows 2000/XP or later and the VB6 Runtime, all other dependencies are Windows API based.

Options/Setup:
To toggle the option view click the Options button.

Enter your VB Forums user name, otherwise you will get notified when you post to a forum too!

Select your favorite forum from the dropdown list to monitor for new posts.

Optionally enable Auto Update and adjust the update interval to suit your needs from 1 to 60 minutes.

New Post Notify:
When a new thread or reply is posted a message slider will scroll up near the bottom right of your desktop, clicking on this message will open the thread to its last page with your default web browser. If you click the image in the slider it will show the Ticker program to the desktop.

Note: Sticky and Moved posts are not checked or shown in the topic scroll window.

Tray icon:
Double click the icon to open the program to the desktop.

Right click the icon for options.

The tray icon blinks green when there has been a new post or reply.

If the program was unable to access the forum (blocked by firewall, no internet connection, etc, etc) the icon will blink red.

To reset the blinking icon to normal select the Reset Tray option from the tray icon menu.

Clean Code for FireFox users:
This option is found in the tray icon menu. This will remove those unwanted numbers and "#" characters when you copy code from VBForums.

To use, copy the code from the VBForum, select the Clean Code option, then just paste the code into the IDE as you normally would.

Notice:
Setting Internet Explorer or Outlook to offline will also block this program from the internet!
