I have a fairly large UBB as well, and I am more than impressed with your PHP version.
What version did you start with? Is this available in anyway?
I would just love a PHP version as well and hope you dont mind me asking you these questions:D

This version has been entirely developed in house. The old perl version was completely swamping our server, and we had been holding out of UBBEE. Having seen that it was to be remotely hosted etc, we thought that the only option would be to roll our own PHP/MySQL version. So we did!
This is the finished result here. We were running version 5.43b before I think - not that it really matters. This system was pretty much coded from scratch - not a straight perl to php conversion. There are still a few features missing, but we had not been using them previously so that does not really matter to us.
Unfortunately, we cannot release the source code. It is more than a simple 'hack' so I don't think InfoPop would be very happy with us releasing it.
For now, the answer is no code. Sorry!

Thank you for answering.
I have to agree that infopop may not be happy, but like you I was awaiting the UBBEE, and am now disapointed with the hosted ap. I will not be going that route, as I am sure many will not be;)
I have been picking and cleaning up the existing code for a while now, and would love to see something like this to purchase. I think you should invest a little more time and try to push your BB, if it is completely re-written it should be no problem with a few slight changes, and as I am sure you are aware there are many look a like UBB's, but none that are so functional.
They also cannot copyright the interface if I am understanding correctly, only the code, and since you scratched their code and started from the ground up, well I cant see them being able to say much.
Thanks again for the answers, and if you find a way to get around some of the hangups with copyright, then be sure and let me know:D
