Hi, Here's some more feedback on a great service. I love what you are doing for us :)
Is it possible to disable the emailnotification on a topic. I have got the answer to my Q but still when anyone put in a new answer I get a new mail. I woukd like to be able to disable the emailnotification on a topic. If I choose to edit my Q or answer then the email notification is already unchecked although I started that topic and I get a mail whenever someone puts in a new answer.
Well I would like a checkbox that alows me to stop the email notifications.
I hope this feature isn't already in here, then I would be so embarrassed.

If you click to edit your post (the little penci and paper icon) above your post you can turn email notification on and off. Additionally, if you don't actually edit your message you will not get that 'Edited by...' message appearing in your post.
If there is one particular thread/post that is not working, let me know by posting here again.
Oh yeah - don't forget to submit the edit post form once you have changed the email notification option.

Well
I have to disagree with you slightly(;)) there.
If I open up a Q entered today then I can uncheck the email notification, but if I open a Q posted a a couple of days ago then all the checkboxes are unchecked. (se: VB6 ocx in VB5 entered 02-22-2000 09:10AM)
It doesnt matter whitch entry I open, my original Q or any answer I have given to a reply, the checkboxes for email notification, smilies & show signature is not checked.
It is mostly old letters that I would like to disable the notification from since I most likely have gotten the answer I needed.
Thank you for a great service, I hope I'm not to annoying with all my remarks ;)

Hmm - well in that case, the notification and disable smilie settings must have been lost when the messages were transferred from the old system.
You will have to re-enable email notification, etc in your older posts by hand. Sorry about that :(
Keep the comments coming! Thanks,
John
