Browser colors vs. VB colors

I would like to let users select colors for parts of Web pages from a form that shows some available colors. The problem is that the same RBG codes can look somewhat different in IE5 and VB5. For example BA55D3 is noticeably different shades in IE and VB on the same PC.

Does anyone know how to make VB's colors match browser colors?
