RDS Problem

Can anyone help with the following RDS problem.

My ASP page creates an RDS.DataSpace object and then calls a method of that object. Directly through a modem, this works absolutely fine. However, when connected to a main LAN, and connecting to the net through a proxy server I get the error: "Microsoft ADO/RDS (0x80072EE7)
Internet Client Error: Cannot Connect to Server."
