Okay, so I was feeling a bit energetic tonight. I figured, I'll go for a little run. I didn't even get to the end of the block, when I slipped hopping up onto the sidewalk, and fell flat on my ass. Not only that, I think I really hurt my ankle. Its all swelled up and its uncomfortable to walk on. Oh boy, I'm gonna feel this tomorrow!
:(

Yup, stupid you ;)
Seriously though, that sucks. You didn't break it, did you?

I suppose not. If I broke it, I shouldn't be able to walk on it. That's what they say, right? It hurts when I walk on it, but not too much.

Well, that's good. Yeah, they tell me if you break it you can't move it.

exactly that happend to me a few years back.. i thought i would go out for a jog... then as i was running.. i slipped on some mud and twisted my ankle.. it swelled up really bad and i was off of my feet for a week!!!
i missed a slayer concert because of it.. i think the fact that i didnt get to go to the slayer concert is what hurt more than my twisted ankle ;)

running is apparently the worst form of exercise in terms of the pressure you exert on your legs/spine. Every stride they have to withstand a shock 8 times your body weight....interesting fact for you!

Yeah. Serves you right for excercising and not programming!

When I broke my arm (clean break...not a fracture) I could still move my wrist (not far without huting like a ***** ;) ) and my fingers (couldn't make a fist though, just couldn't).....

I broke my little toe once when a brick fell on it.
Couldn't even stand on it.
Spent three hours in casualty for them to put little lollipop stckks either side and a plaster over the top.
I had to hobble out of casualty on crutches with a plaster on my little toe. How stupid did I feel?
