I am creating an application in which the user will have updated news and links everytime it launches. I have a question though.

I have created a form, and now I want text from a dat file on an internet server to be sent and displayed in the form's textbox. Also, I want the command buttons to have updated internet links everytime they change in the dat file on the server.

Also, how do I create and ini file which the program will read everytime it starts so that it knows which server to contact for the dat files?
