Uploading to a web server..

I need to know how to write an application that could transfer and retrieve files from a web server.

I have access to the web server and all of this, I just need to know how to make a vb program send a file to it, and then retrieve it.

I know it will have to send a password to the sever, and a login name. I have these of course, I just don't know how to write it.
