Stupid People... Ahhhhhh!
I have just had a supprot call from possibally the biggest numpty on the face of the planet.
We design software for casino's and part of it is a reception app where the user can sign members in or create new members.
When they create new members the have a digital camera which takes a picture of them for thier mebership details.
This gut phones me up saying when he is creating a new member the screen is blue.
This normally means it is not connected to the machine properly.
I ask him to check which he replies *I have done that.*
What do I do next Hmm... I know goto programs and check the image software to see if the camera works from there.
He does this and replies *That doesn't work either*
What do I do next Hmmm... I know check the camera to see if it is working properly, turned on etc.
He replies...
*Well I have to phone my manager because he removed it a month ago.*
WWWHHHHHHAAAATTTTT!!

You should email the guy the dictionary definition of moron.lol
Moron noun A Person with little or no mental capacity, and through this lack of intelligence is a constant nuissance to the people around him/her. For an example, go look in the mirror.
You just proved that sig advertisements work.

I had a client in Houston who was about as dumb. He called in at 3AM one morning (mid 80s) to complain that my DB3 code had killed his monitor.
I told him to fiddle with the buttons on the back of the monitor, figuring that he had messed with them to start with and had blackened his screen.
He claimed that he couldn't see the buttons to mess with them. I told him to turn the monitor around. He didn't want to because:
"the electricity is out, there's no light, and I'm afraid I'll drop it off the table...."
I charged him $125/hour for the 2 hours his call occupied.

These people are a liability.
We are seriously thinking about packaging web cameras with instalation as we can dial in and see thier machines.
This way we can run the web camera and get them to show us the hardware.
I'ts crazy I know but these people should'nt be allowed out unsupervised.
