Does anyone know of an excellent 3D Games programming book for VB6? I am a newbie with 3D games/graphics and I need to start somewhere...

I doubt there are any books that deal with 3d game programming in VB. If you want a book that deals with graphics in VB, check out "Visual Basic Graphics Programming". It'll cost you about $50 US, but it will teach you 3d graphics, using only VB.

If you should decide to use C++ instead of VB, you might want to have a look at "Windows Game Programming for Dummies" by André LaMothe or "3D Game Programming With C++" By John De Goes.

a good overview of the gaming industry would be Game Design: Secrets Of The Sages second edition by Brady Games.... There are several books at Barnes & Nobles....

Here (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0672319292/202-2628894-0927048) is a link to a pretty good 3D book. I suggest typing "VB 3D games programming" into the amazon search (.com if you're in the US, or .co.uk if in the UK) and seeing what comes up. That's how I get most of my stuff. There are loads of decent books out there. Happy hunting!
