The latest Detonator3 drivers from nVidia (graphics card drivers that work with all but one nVidia chipset) have an issue: by default, they turn Direct3D antialiasing on. So if you have the Detonator3 drivers and your Direct3D programs look blurry, change this option to the one in the screenshot:

BTW, other than this, these drivers are good. I've already noticed a slightly better framerate and mouse control in D3 is soooo much smoother than before.

BTW, did I say slight framerate increase? I went from 640x480 to 1280x1024 without sacraficing frametime. :D

Yes, it is theoretically OpenGL drivers for nearly every graphics card out there. Quake 3 recommends its use.

d00d:

For WinNT/2k you will need to obtain the driver directly from the board manufacturer's web site.

they (meaning manufacturer) dont have it.

What games are you playing that need OpenGL? Quake 3?

half life (tfc, cs, DoD)

the patched deus ex uses opengl

I think there's a Mesa OpenGL->Direct3D driver for those cards that don't have native drivers.

Although nVida have been pretty good at OpenGL support...

Why do you say OpenGL isn't included? I find that very odd. Does it specifically say that OpenGL isn't included?

Quake 3 worked for me even before I got the last Detonator3 drivers (I have a GeForce 256).

i cant find my opengl32.dll in c:\windows or c:\windows\system

i dont have system files hidden. deus ex doesnt gimme the option for OpenGL and HL just switches to yucky D3D

i upgraded to Win2k and this started happening, and i checked for the file and it isn't there.

my friend sent me the DLL, but it's still not working  :(

If you have DirectX 8 and the latest Detonator3 drivers, you should be in for a treat. At least, I was.
