does anyone know where to download .net

does anyone know where to download visual studio.net without going to microsoft. They want you to have a MSDN subsription which I dont have. They will give you a CD for $12 shipping and handling and no charge but i really just want to download it. Any ideas?

I dont think you REALLY want to try to download around 3 gigs. Just pay the 12$.
