Project Idea

I'm gone through a couple books about Java and think I am ready to try the certification. Does anybody, who has taken the certification, have an idea of a sample project that I could create that covers a lot of topics covered on the exam?

Interesting idea. I think Sun calls your idea the "Sun Certified [b]Developer[\b] for the Java 2 Platform Exam", but that's just my opinion.

Anyhow, here is the latest from Sun about the Programmer objectives http://suned.sun.com/US/images/certification_progj2se_07_01.pdf . They weren't available in that format when I was preparing for the Programmer Exam. I relied on the Syngress and Sybex texts.
