"Jack fell down and broke his crown"

since when does a little kid wear a crown? If he is a king/prince, then why is he running to get water???:D ;) :) :p

Crown means your head. Presumably, Jack's head was split open in a bloody mess half way down the hill. They put 200 stiches in him and he could never walk again.

What I don't understand is, how they fixed his crown (whether it's a king-type or a skull-type!) with vinegar and brown paper.
