Microsoft today announced its new Windows mascot,designed to compete with the Linux penguin. it's called Big Billy.
Bill Gates commented onthe new marketing move today, "Big Billy is the world's first interactive mascot. Simply plug Big Billy into a free USB port and Billy interacts with your kids."
We tried Big Billy out just now and here's our review.
we plugged Big Billy in. "Hey kids!" he said, "let's have some fun!"
"First of all, you're not using windows ME, the world's favorite version of the home OSes. Scan your credit card under my tummy and we can download it now!"
So we stuck our credit cards under Big Billly's Belly and we downloaded Windows ME from the Microsoft website.
Big Billy's eyes lit up with dollar signs and that shows he was happy. He said, "Hey kids! let's go on the internet! Push my tummy to continue!"
So we pushed his tummy.
He said "Uh oh kids, looks like you're not using MSN Internet Access! MSN is better than AOL!"
we asked, "Why?"
he said in a cheerful voice, "Because Big Billy said so! Let's ask your mommy and daddy to switch now, should we?"
we said "sure"
he said "OK kids, rub your credit card under my belly!"
Then we finally figured we could have some fun. Big Billy then exclaimed in a cheerful voice, "hey let's get products from our sponsors! Rub your credit card under my tummy!".....
