Web Browser

Hey, I know how to make a Web Browser using Internet Explorer's SHDOCVW.DLL, but could I make a .dll similar to that using vb? What kind of things does that handle? Things like connecting to an IP on port 80, sending the GET command and Things? Also how do I handle pop-ups? Using SHDOCVW.DLL if a page has to load again, it starts IE. Is there a page out there somewhere for this kind of info?
