For some of you this is probably a post you've seen before on different forums but here it goes:
I have hardware that communicates with the "application processor" (AP) which is the computer where you have the software running, through the netbeui protocol. The hardware consists of a 486 processor with a ram memory, a nic and some other bits and pieces needed to run the hardware

It has a set of commands it recognizes and then send back the requested info. This is done in datagrams (of the "broadcast" kind, as you have only 2 "computers" running on your LAN)

Now, i hope i clarified the situation a bit; how do i do this????
I have gathered some info on netbeui (and the hardware, obviously, so i know which commands to send). But what i found doesn't give me the initial push in the right direction.
