Database structure for daily attendence.

I have to develop an application for attendence maintanance. Employee will enter his name & password while he enters the office and logout after the work is over.
I have to calculate the salary etc. using the number of days the employee actually present.
So what are all the fields required for the first table (i.e username,password, date etc.) I have to check the timing also as the sal is on hourly basis.

(Second table is employee's personal info like empid, name, DOB, DOJ, sal , bonus etc)

U can give altogether a different idea to solve this problem.

I don't know how deeply you want to enter this problem but it's a rather sofisticated application. Some time ago I had the same headache and it resulted in a project of half a year. You should consider the case od weekend, overtiming, bonuses,etc.
