COM on Internet

Hi..

I have a really Serious Problem....

I want to know a component written on VB works on internet...

ie., i will be having two applications..

1. Server Application
2. Client Application

The Server Application shall be running on a server with a static IP.

The Client Application shall be running on the remote location having only the Internet Connection to it.

My question is when the client application calls the COM component in the Server... Will it Work????

I have already tried to run this sucessfully in the local intranet..
Its working fine in the Local Intranet.. All i want to know is will it work in Internet..
