    Deploying an Access Database

    Is it possible to deploy an Access application to systems that do not have Access installed?

    Such as a compiled exe in VB. You don't need VB installed, just the runtime files included in the project.

    There's only 1 way. You have to buy/upgrade to Developers' edition of Access/Office.

    It comes with a runtime version of access which lets you run dbs on machines without access.

    But it's VERY expensive. You also get the necessary royaly-free licences etc.
