I was going to backup some files on my laptop, and delete the existing copy on my PC. So on my PC I opened up the folder where the files were on the laptop (networked), then I was looking at the wrong folder and pressed delete. Now I've deleted the copy on the laptop.
As you probably know you can't undo delete over a network, so I went and run Lost and Found straight away on the laptop, when Lost and Found didn't even pick up the deleted directory!! (I used it very little afte the delete, so chance of overwritting was small)
I'm also going to run lost and found on the PC, can anyone give mye more suggestions? :(
