Can anybody point to me, where can I get a a small sample
of a 3-tier application. Right now I just know what it is, but don't how ?

It is difficult to get sample code for such projects, as such projects are usually done at serious organizations. If you wanted to learn about 3-tier applications, you could start exploring it by yourself and ask questions on specific parts when you are stuck.
