nt 4.0 ntfs question bad dir's
hi all
i've got a couple of directories that i can't get deleted 'aux' and 'nul'. now before somebody says it was stupid to create them i'd like to say that i didn't. somebody logged on to my ftp server and did it. i'm using ntfs. i found an article on ms but it didn't give me any solutions. anybody have any ideas?

thanks but i have already tried removing them through ftp,command prompt, and explorer.

Wow, I'm not aware of this particular prank. And I assume that you have tried deleting them via Explorer?
Well, you could delete the parent (after you move out everthing that you want to keep).
