Does anyone know if single controls can be purchased or if a license to use a control can be purchased? I have the Learning Edition of VB which does not have MSChart or the ability to make your own control (as suggested on the VB square website- Make Your Own Chart Control). I really only need to be able to plot xy scatter data from an array to accomplish what I need to do with VB. I have not been able to find any answers from the Microsoft website. I'm a starving graduate student, so I am trying to avoid having to spend another $400 out-of-pocket for the Enterprise edition of VB just for the access to MSChart.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you just need visual basic, just go down to your Bookstore and purchase VB 6.0 Professional. It should cost about $40.00 for an academic license.
